The Limeworks is a traditional craftsmanship company based in the Mendips, Somerset. We carry out all aspects of restoration and conservation works largely to historic and listed properties.
We undertake projects large and small which are run efficiently by our company of craftsmen and we have considerable experience working with the conservation departments of local authorities.
Our Main Services
Lime & Clay Plastering
Lime plastering has excellent breathable properties for older buildings. Whilst unfired clay plasters, excellent at absorbing atmospheric humidity, and ideal for bathrooms and kitchens.
Stonework & Flag Flooring
We carry out all aspects of stonework built with lime or drystone construction. Also all flagstone flooring undertaken.
Joinery & Carpentry
All aspects of joinery catered for, from repairs to newly made windows and doors. All first and second fixed carpentry works carried out, including cut roofs and dormers.
